Man (50s) dies after accident at home

Gardaí said that an investigation is taking place but his death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.

A MAN HAS died in Wexford following a suspected accident at his home.

Gardaí confirmed they were investigating the circumstances of the death of a man this morning at his home in Carrig-on Bannow in Co Wexford.

Gardaí said the man was taken to Wexford General Hospital following the incident where he was later pronounced dead.

Gardaí said that an investigation is taking place but his death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.

It is believed that the man may have been burning something when the accident took place.
